Before you book
- Pickup is from your hotel or a point within five minutes' walk, with the time and place sent within 24 hours of the trip. The boat leaves from Agios Sostis harbour, at the spot with two blue ZANTE MARE flags and white umbrellas.
- Zakynthos is a haven for the loggerhead turtle (Greek National Tourism Organisation), but sightings depend on the day and no boat can guarantee one.
- The trip runs in the National Marine Park of Zakynthos: Zone A of Laganas Bay is closed to all boats, and Zones B and C have a 6-knot speed limit. Nesting beaches, Marathonisi among them, are open to the public from 07:00 until sunset; keep clear of caged nests and never touch hatchlings.
- The 18:00 departure adds a complimentary wine or soft drink and the sunset, per the listing; otherwise food and drinks are not included. Not suitable for pregnant travelers, people with back problems, wheelchair users or anyone prone to seasickness.
- The captain can change the route for the weather. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”
