- The boat leaves from Skala beach on Kefalonia, opposite the small pine park at the end of Skala's main pedestrian street; arrive 20 minutes early. Hotel pickup is not included, so you make your own way to Skala.
- Not included: lunch and personal spending; cold water is free on board, and snorkelers bring their own gear. Not suitable for people prone to seasickness.
- Scheduled ferries also cross from Sami to Pisaetos on Ithaca in about half an hour (31 minutes, per the Greek National Tourism Organisation). This cruise adds three swim stops from the boat and a same-day return to Skala.
