Kefalonia: Assos and Fiscardo Island Day Tour

- When we checked in early October 2026, the first open date on this calendar was 2 May 2027.
- Pickup is from hotels in the operator's zones. Guests in Lixouri join at Argostoli port, and there is no pickup from Agia Efimia, Sami, Fiskardo or Assos. The listing says the day does not suit cruise passengers because of its timing.
- Not included: the Melissani entry fee (€10 for adults as of October 2026, set by the Municipality of Sami) and food and drinks; lunch is your own in Fiskardo. The 12-person rowing boats take 10 to 15 minutes, and swimming in the lake is not allowed.
- Myrtos is a photo stop at the viewpoint above the beach; on the beach, a landslide on 9 July 2026 led to signs that ban umbrellas, sunbeds or sitting near the foot of the cliff. Not suitable for people with mobility impairments.
- Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”
About This Experience

Good to Know
- The boats at Lake Melissani are 12-person rowboats with a rower. Passengers might encounter crowds when boarding during the peak season in July and August.
- The boat ride lasts around 10-15 minutes and includes entry into the cave.( not included in the price) The duration may vary depending on the number of visitors waiting in line.
- To preserve the natural environment and protect the site, swimming in the Lake is not allowed for visitors.
- This tour is not suitable for cruise passengers due to time constraints. It is recommended to consider other options that better accommodate your schedule.
- The tour company does not provide pick up from Lixouri Area. If you are staying in Lixouri and you wish to attend this excursion pick up is at Argostoli Port. For this tour, pick-up service is not available from the villages of Agia Efimia, Sami, Fiscardo, and Assos due to their location outside the designated pick-up zones.
