Hydra Island: Full Day Trip from Athens with Swimming

- This trip leaves from central Athens, not Piraeus: meet outside Metaxourghio metro station on the red line, at the Karaiskaki Square exit. The coach drives about 3.5 hours each way to Metochi on the mainland, with a 15-minute stop at the Corinth Canal, and a sea taxi crosses to Hydra; the day lasts about 12.5 hours.
- The sea-taxi tickets are not in the price: €20, a €5 booking fee plus the €15 fare, so bring cash. Lunch, sunbeds and umbrellas are extra too.
- Cars and motorbikes are not allowed on Hydra (GNTO); people get around on foot or by donkey. Not suitable for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.
- Bring a passport or ID card; no food or alcohol on the coach. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”

Meeting Point
Meet outside Metaxourghio metro station (red line), which is 8 minutes from Syntagma Square by metro. Once you arrive at Metaxourghio metro station, follow the exit to Karaiskaki Square and go up the stairs. Turn right and walk toward the metro station sign. You will meet your guide next to the sign.
